Declawing

The decision to declaw your kitten should not be taken lightly. Declawing can be avoided by providing plenty of scratching posts, regular nail trims, and nail caps if necessary. However, if all efforts have failed and you are looking for a last resort option, we are grateful to be able to offer LASER declaw. This is a procedure in which the end of the bone attached to the claw is removed with a concentrated beam of light, or laser. This is a blade-free, scissor-free method which results in less bleeding, less pain, and faster recovery.

You must commit to follow post-operative instructions which includes the administration of pain medications and activity restriction for 1-2 weeks. Since your kitten no longer has his/her claws as a form of defense, he/she must remain strictly indoors at all times.
